A few words from our founders:

Hi, we're Blake and Zack — two brothers on a mission to give every tour operator, no matter where they are, the tools to grow their business and live the life they want.

Throughout the years, we've seen tour operators in the developing world receive rejection after rejection from technology companies that were supposed to help them grow.

"We don't currently accept operators from your region."

"We don't have the capacity to support your business."

The reason was always the same. The lifetime value per operator was considered too small. The regions weren't prioritized. The business case didn't work.

The problem is — this is where travel matters most. Ask any operator in these regions why they joined the travel industry.

"To provide for my family."
"To give my wife and kids a better life."

For these regions, travel isn't just a business. It's a lifeline.

Blake spent years at Rezdy trying to solve this, but after a trip to Indonesia with Zack, meeting a bunch of different operators, we realised the only way to truly help was to build something new — something fair, fast, and designed for them.

Today, we're building Kong — enterprise-level technology for every operator, everywhere. No subscription fees, no upfront costs, no barriers.

Why Kong?

After speaking with hundreds of operators, what we found was that they were most worried about control. They were worried about losing control of their time, business or their brand.

In our mother tongue, kong means control.

Kong gives operators the tools they need to grow their business, while staying in control of their time, their brand, and their guest experience.

Five years at Atlassian as a product leader and senior engineer, building products like Jira and Confluence — now bringing that expertise to the travel world.

One of the many inspirations

We met a man in Cambodia who grew up in the aftermath of the Khmer Rouge, in a Cambodia that was still rebuilding from devastation. At the age of nine, he became a street merchant because his family needed to survive.

Then he discovered the travel industry. Through it, he built a business that sent his kids to private school. He gave his family a completely new life.

His story isn't unique — it's one of thousands.
Across Asia and beyond, travel isn't a luxury. It's a lifeline.
